Cork University Hospital
Cork University Hospital is a university teaching hospital in Ireland. It is operated by the Health Service Executive. CUH officially opened in November 1978, and was known then as Cork Regional Hospital. The hospital primarily treats patients from Cork and Kerry which have a combined population of more than 620,000. In addition to this, it is also a tertiary referral centre for Munster, serving a population of more than 1,173,000.
